My name is Esben Schack and I’m currently living in Copenhagen. I’m in the process of applying for a US-visa, and I hope relocate to New York in the fall.
I released my debut album in 2005, but seeing that things didn’t take off, I decided to change the way I perform and write my music. I’m using a very loop-oriented approach to song-writing and performing, because I love the way I can add and subtract to the mix by removing or adding layers to the track.
Before I released my album I was amongst other things also playing with the samba-reggae outfit Veneno. We played a lot of shows over the years and we won a Danish World Award for Best Live Act in 2003. I still have a lot of love for the Brazilian sound, and in many ways I try to incorporate some of it in my music and performance.
Apart from music, I’m also an avid film, tv-show, football and videogames fan.
